What you can expect for your money:

Assessment: Prior to your first meeting, you will be contacted via email / phone (which ever you prefer) to discuss your requirements and arrange a suitable appointment time. We will also take a brief history to ensure Katie has the appropriate expertise to help you. You may be asked to complete a food (and symptom if applicable) diary and a lifestyle questionnaire to help establish your current situation. This is analysed for your dietary concerns. This is pre your consultation and takes on average 30 -60 minutes of admin/dietetic time.

If appropriate, Katie will assess your anthropometry at your initial appointment and this includes weight, height, body mass index; She will assess your current, previous and family history of medical conditions; and your lifestyle habits to gain and clearer understanding of the nutritional and dietary implications.

Nutritional and dietary therapy: You will have a face to face clinic appointment to discuss your analysed dietary needs well as any symptoms and nutritional and dietary concerns you may have and based on your current situation Katie will develop a plan suitable to your individual needs- 1 hour.

Any supporting written information and booklets are also included (including the King's low FODMAP booklets if appropriate)

Communication post appointment - Katie will write a letter to your referrer and GP (if applicable) and any written information is also copied to you - 30-60 minutes dietetic time.

Online and telephone support is available to help you keep track with your dietary therapy and answer any questions or concerns you may have implementing the advice given. This is included in the initial fee.
Cancellation
Please ensure 48 hours notice is given for any cancellation. If your consultation is not cancelled within 48 hours notice you will be charged in full.
Insurance
Katie holds provider recognition status with various companies including Aviva, WPA, Prudential, and BUPA. If you have an insurance policy please liaise with you insurer to confirm whether you are covered for your consultation and to obtain your authorisation code. If you are only covered for part of the consultation fee you will need to pay the remainder of the fee.
