Katie studied dietetics as a postgraduate at King's College, London, and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Katie also has a BSc (Hons) Physiology from the University of St Andrew's, an MSc Nutrition from King's College, London, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Coventry University. Katie is a highly motivated dietitian and has a wide range of clinical experience.
As well as her private work Katie is currently employed at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in London where she works as a Specialist Nutrition Support Dietitian. Katie's experience and clinical expertise include allergies and intolerances, cardiovascular disease, coeliac disease, IBS, IBD (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis), Diabetes, Healthy Eating and General Nutrition, Hypertension Nutrition Support, Obesity and Weight Management, PCOS, Sport Nutrition, Pre and Post-Natal Nutrition, Vitamin and Nutrient Deficiencies. Katie has a specialist interest in IBS and gut disorders and has undergone expert nutrition training in the low FODMAP diet.
Katie can provide a personalised nutrition service and offers tailored advice to individuals, corporates, and the media. Dietary advice is based on scientific evidence and best practice and national guidelines, Katie considers lifestyle, health and fitness goals, and food preferences to enable clients to achieve their goals and optimise their nutrition, health and wellbeing. As well as showing sensitivity and empathy, Katie will always go the extra mile to ensure that the best care is provided to her client.
