Why test body composition?
Understanding your body composition is key to assessing your wellbeing. BMI (body mass index) uses only height and total weight and does not differentiate between fat and muscle mass.
If you are on a nutrition / diet / fitness programme, to lose or gain weight, how do you measure progress and know if you are losing or adding FAT, MUSCLE or retaining WATER? DIRECT SEGMENTAL MEASUREMENT
One of the assumptions generally taken in BIA is that the measured body is one cylinder. InBody considers the body as five separate cylinders and can differentiate each cylinder as a separate region, including the trunk.
MULTIPLE HIGH FREQUENCIES
