About Katie Sanders Dietitian
I’m Katie Sanders, a UK HCPC-registered dietitian with over 18 years of experience working in both the NHS and private practice.
I specialise in gut health and digestive symptoms, and I work with people who are often feeling worried, frustrated, or overwhelmed by ongoing gut issues. Many have tried multiple diets or received conflicting advice. My role is to help bring clarity, reassurance, and balance.
I take a calm, evidence-based approach to nutrition. I don’t believe in extremes, unnecessary restriction, or fear-based messaging. Gut symptoms are real and valid — even when tests are normal — and understanding what’s happening can make a meaningful difference.
My work is informed by current clinical guidance and research, but also by years of listening to people’s lived experiences. I consider the whole picture: food, lifestyle, stress, sleep, routine, and the gut–brain connection. Support is always personalised, realistic, and designed to fit around real life.
Above all, I aim to create a space where people feel heard, supported, and more confident in understanding their gut — without pressure to be perfect.
